Welcome to Cape Ann Skeptics

We are a group of people interested in exploring the world with a skeptical point of view.

Our definition of skepticism is "rational, critical, and scientific thinking." We are not cynics nor contrarians. Rather, we are people who look at the world rationally.

Skeptics in the Pub on Cape Ann

Like Skeptics in the Pub meetings around the world, we gather as an opportunity for skeptics to meet one another and share ideas.

Meetings are generally scheduled for the third Tuesday of every month. Everyone interested in skepticism is welcome and there is no cost or registration required.

This month, on April 15th, a memorable date, Cape Ann Skeptics in the Pub will have a program entitled: Small Steps Toward a Skeptical World.

This presentation by Rich Sagall and Mark Warhol will explore different approaches to dealing with people who aren’t skeptical and the resulting situations. Using videos, skits and audience participation, they will demonstrate good, bad and ugly ways of being a skeptic.

We meet in the back room at La Trattoria, 64 Main St., Gloucester.
(See map below.)
