Welcome to Cape Ann Skeptics

We are a group of people interested in exploring the world with a skeptical point of view.

Our definition of skepticism is "rational, critical, and scientific thinking." We are not cynics nor contrarians. Rather, we are people who look at the world rationally.

Skeptics in the Pub on Cape Ann

Like Skeptics in the Pub meetings around the world, we gather as an opportunity for skeptics to meet one another and share ideas.

Meetings are generally scheduled for the third Tuesday of every month. Everyone interested in skepticism is welcome and there is no cost or registration required.

Tues, June 18th, Mary and Mark Warhol will present a two part program. In the first part, Mary will explain fast thinking versus slow thinking. In the second part, Mark will demonstrate a slow thinking process as it relates to global warming. Find out how brains operate and how to get the most out of them! We all need to hear this one!

We meet in the back room at La Trattoria, 64 Main St., Gloucester.
(See map below.)

Agenda:
6:00-6:45 - Come, meet skeptics, order food and drink
  6:45 - The presentation begins

Everyone interested in skepticism is welcome!
